Spec Comics Six-Year Anniversary

Another year has passed, meaning Spec Comics Day has arrived again. Although not much seems to have occurred in this yellow-lettered realm within the past three hundred sixty-five days, we can assure you some new works are on the horizon. A number of founder Aidan Jenney’s comics have also been published in Chaminade College Preparatory School’s electronic newspaper; read Red Devil Comics here!

Spec Comics Five-Year Anniversary

Once again we’ve reached April 1st, to some known as Spec Comics Day! This time seems to mark half a decade since the founding of Spec Comics. Our sincerest apologies for taking such long time between updates, but we can assure you that Superhuman Vol. 3 is on the horizon – a bit later than anticipated, but nonetheless arriving soon. Until then, enjoy this exclusive sneak peek:

Superhuman Vol. 2: John Barman Begins Out Now

Over half a year after Aidan Jenney’s latest comic book series made its debut with Superhuman Vol. 1: Arachnid, the second entry is finally out. Although not the sequel one would expect, Vol. 2 ties loosely with the first and sees a (mostly) new cast of characters inhabiting the Spec Comics Universe. Grab your copy of Superhuman Vol. 2: John Barman Begins from the comics page today!

Spec Comics Four-Year Anniversary

Has it been four years already? How time flies! Happy Spec Comics Day, everyone. We’ve got a lot of projects in the works, and hopefully 2020 will see us finishing them. Superhuman Vol. 2: John Barman Begins is coming out sooner than you think, so be on the lookout! Thank you to all our fans. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Heading into 2020

Hello, everyone. Apologies for the lack of updates in recent time. It’s still early in the year, this being posted on Valentine’s Day, but we thought now would be a good time to fill you all in on what’s been going on behind the scenes, ever since the release of Aidan Jenney’s new comic book, Superhuman Vol. 1: Arachnid. Speaking of which, the second volume is in the works right now, but a release date is still being decided on. Anyway, thank you for sticking around and we apologize for the wait. (And here’s another cool fact: the first day featured in Superhuman Vol. 1: Arachnid is February 14th, 2020, the day this was posted on!)
